The project ‘’Comprehensive initiative for renewable energy sources around the Baltic States’’ is financed by the Synergy programme of the European Commission DG 17. It is targeting countries which are in the process of integration of the 'acquis communautaire' for the sector of the renewable energy in order to join the European Union. |

| Description of the Actual Services Provided | Its main aims was the following. * Identify renewable energy projects to be developed later in four countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, and two regions: the Kaliningrad and San Petersburg regions. All renewable energy sources are covered by the project. * Set up a network of actors, on a transnational basis, which could later provide expertise and propose renewable energy projects. * Propose a sustainable basis for the network for its functioning in the future and reasonable tasks for its work. The project is developed in link with an other French company and local consultants which are carried some parts of the work in the countries. IED is fully responsible for the work and the partners of Estonia and Poland. |
