| Description of the Actual Services Provided | IED prepared an overview and assessment of prepaid solutions for off-grid energy supply available on the market with a focus on solutions “made in Germany”, including the assessment of their technical suitability for different RE systems, as well as financial aspects. This will be compiled in a catalogue of existing prepaid technologies with their pros and cons. -A description of experiences with existing prepaid off grid solutions in other African countries. -Recommendations to FUNAE on the piloting of prepaid technology in small and medium sized minigrids |
