The study objective is to enable the electrification of 22 lake communities in the commune of So-Ava, on the north shore of Lake Nokoué, at the mouth of the Sô River, in southern Benin, in the Atlantic department (10 in the boroughs of Ganvié 1 - 2 and 12 in the borough of Vekky). The project is part of a comprehensive programme carried out by the Government of Benin to rehabilitate the cultural and tourist site of Ganvié,known as the "Venice of Africa". |

| Description of the Actual Services Provided | - Summary Pre-Projects (APS) and Detailed Projects (APD) of the 22 lake or semi-lake communities, - Environmental and Social Impact study and Environmental and Social Management Plan of the area, subcontracted with the BRLi design office, - The project management and works monitoring of the first 10 lake communities in Ganvié, - Monitoring environmental and social management plans for project management and companies, - Social intermediation activities allowing the potential customers addressing (including geo-referencing) and the costs of connecting to the electricity network payment via mobile money, in partnership with the 2 mobile operators in Benin. |
