Realization of feasibility studies (Preliminary Draft Summary, Detailed Preliminary Design, EIES and Resettlement Action Plan and Compensation) and the Call for Tenders (RFP) for the works of the Project for the Modernization, Extension and Densification of the Electricity Network in the departments of Mono, Couffo and Borgou (ProMEDRE) The work focuses on: - A component for the extension and densification of networks in the communes of N'dali, Parakou and Tchaourou in the Borgou department, and in all the communes of the Mono and Couffo departments; - A component of rehabilitation and standardization of substations and MV and LV lines in the project area; - A shutter for the insertion of manual and remote-controlled shut-off devices on the electricity network present in these three departments; - A component for inserting communicating and non-communicating fault detectors on the electrical network present in the project area; - A component for the creation of connections, and the installation of public lighting fireplaces; |

| Description of the Actual Services Provided | In this capacity, the Consultant will be responsible for carrying out, in accordance with international best practices: • Technical, environmental, social and economic feasibility studies: - Situation report - Demand study - Summary technical feasibility study - Summary Environmental and Social Impact Assessment - Economic and financial analysis - Risk Analysis • Preliminary Draft Summary (APS) • Detailed Preliminary Design (DPA): - Technical details - Organization of the site and work schedule - Confidential Cost Estimates - Detailed environmental and social impact assessment - Resettlement Action Plan and Compensation (PARC) • Prepare the tender documents for the execution of the works • Draft the ToR and the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the recruitment of the MOE |
