| Description : |
CASA TAF is a UK Government Facility (FCDO), implemented with the technical support of Techno Serve, to enhance economic opportunities for smallholder agribusinesses. Following a study on the agro-circular economy in Senegal, a partnership was set with COPEOL. An initial diagnosis identified the self-production of electricity from a gasification system as an option to be investigated, to improve the profitability of processing plants. IED conducted feasibility studies at two sites: a groundnut processing plant and a cashew processing project. |
