As part of the PADERAU (Support Program for the Development of Renewable Energies for Universal Access), SENELEC is carrying out a rural electrification project by extending the interconnected distribution network that covers the regions of Matam, Tambacounda, Sédhiou and Ziguinchor. |

| Description of the Actual Services Provided | The mission main objective is to ensure the validation of the studies and the of about 556 localities electrification works supervision (1,305 km of MV network and 1,370 km of LV network) and the construction of more than 20,000 connections and indoor installations. The main activities entrusted to the Technical Assistance Office consist of: • Activity 1: Project Implementation • Activity 2: Monitoring and control of technical and environmental studies, and preparation of tenders • Activity 3: Procurement Support • Activity 4: Coordination of works supervision • Activity 5: Technical monitoring of networks • Activity 6: Environmental and Social Monitoring • Activity 7: Indoor Connections and Installations follow-up • Activity 8: Capacity Building |
