Kenya's Power Generation and Transmission Master Plan update for the period 2025-2045. The aim is to formulate a long-term strategy and a medium-term plan (2025-2030) to meet rapidly growing energy demand. Modernize planning tools by providing state-of-the-art software for demand forecasting, generation and transmission network expansion. Integrate intermittent renewable energies (solar, wind) by assessing the need for ancillary services and energy storage. Taking into account new reforms, such as electric mobility, electric cooking and the increased integration of variable renewable energies Strengthen local capacity through the training of 30 Kenyan technical experts to ensure the sustainability of the plan's updates. Optimize costs through a rigorous technical, economic and environmental analysis in order to define the "Least Cost Plan". |
